Recipe for Kiwi Juice

Ingredients needed:

  • ½ kg of sugar
  • 1 ½ kg of fresh and peeled kiwi
  • 1 ½ liter water

Method of preparation:

First of all you should peel the kiwi, chop it and blend it. In case you don’t have blender you can use machine for grinding tomatoes.

Once you finish grinding the kiwis take them and sieve them through thick strainer to release the excess amount of juice out of them. Boil the water and leave it for some time to cool down.

Take the chilled water and add it to the strained kiwi juice together with ½ kilo of sugar. Stir this mixture together about 20 minutes or until the sugar dissolves completely.  Pour the juice in sterilized glass bottle and keep it in the fridge.

Remember always to dilute the juice with water before consumption.

This juice (syrup) from kiwi is rich with vitamins and it includes: vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, B-complex.

It also contains potassium, carotenoids, chlorophyll, iron, selenium. Calcium, lutein, carbohydrates and flavonoids. All these nutrients are the reason why it is recommended to pregnant woman.
