The group of researchers from the American Chemical Society says that the agavins, the sugars found in the agave plant, are all natural and completely safe for use. These sugars resemble the dietary fiber, as they cannot be digested by the body. In other words, it helps you feel full for longer period of time because everything that it non-digestible keeps you full over an extended period. Being non-digested, the glucose levels stay the same or at manageable level.
