1. Short breath

One of the first symptoms of lung cancer was a short breath and an inability to breathe in full lungs.

2. A Chronic cough or chest pain

More types of cancer, including leukemia and lung tumors, cause symptoms that resemble bronchitis or severe coughing. Some patients with lung cancer say that pain spreads all over the shoulder or even descends down the arm.

3. Common infections, fever

This can be a sign of leukemia, a cancer of white blood cells that occurs in the bone marrow. Bone marrow produces abnormal leukocytes that destroy the ability of the immune system to fight infection.

4. Hard swallowing
