The garlic soup is so efficient and powerful in solving various health problems due to the benefits that its ingredients offer. Both garlic and onion have antibiotic properties and the combination of these two, makes the soup highly beneficial. These vegetables were used many years ago by the people in ancient Babylon and Egypt.
These two ingredients can be also combined with thyme which contains volatile oils. It has many medicinal properties that destroy different bacteria and viruses. When combined in soup, these ingredients offer very powerful and effective natural remedy. This soup is extremely tasty and beneficial and also easy for digestion. It helps in the treatment of various infections and inflammatory problems. It is a natural antibiotic which replaces a lot of pharmaceutical drugs which cause side effects.
Recipe for this tasty and healthy soup:
- 2 dice of red onions
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 50 peeled garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons freshly gathered thyme
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 6 cups of chicken stock
- 3 cups of bread crumbs
The first thing you should do is to preheat the oven up to 350 degrees. In the meantime, spread the garlic cloves in half on a tin foil sheet, sprinkle them with olive oil and then wrap it all up. Put the wrapped mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 60-90 minutes.
When done, let it cool at room temperature and start making another mixture in the meantime. Take a pot, add two tablespoons of olive oil and butter and warm it up until in melts. Then, add the chopped red onion and cook for about 10 minutes.
When the garlic is cool, grind it in a preheated saucepan where the onions and the thyme were previously placed. Then, add the bread crumbs and cook it for 7 minutes more. After that, pour the mixture in a blender and blend it well, transfer it into to pot again and ultimately, add the salt, pepper and the sour cream.
